Newberry Habitat for Humanity Team Raising Awareness for Affordable Housing

Under the leadership of Executive Director, Dwane Krumme, a Newberry Habitat for Humanity Team is Raising Awareness for Affordable Housing.

The team of involved Habitat staff are working together to raise awareness for affordable housing to build the newest Habitat home in La Pine, Oregon, expand the volunteer base by access to website videos and YouTube and an expanded website presence and increased public awareness for the Newberry Habitat for Humanity Affiliate!

ReStore manager, Rolando Alonzo works to make the La Pine ReStore the best store in town. With this crackerjack team of six individuals, be ready to watch what happens to the Habitat affiliate!

Dwane Krumme is the Executive Director and fearless leader of the local Newberry Habitat for Humanity team! He coordinates the efforts of all of the team members to get the word out, stay on task and on budget, reporting to the Habitat board and keeping a watchful eye on production and costs!

Steve Krebs, from Exact Construction, is the General Contractor for building projects –not just the houses. He has been responsible for building the newest Habitat home in terry Park in La Pine. He contracts all of the subs, works with volunteers and he also does the smaller Habitat building projects that are approved by the head office.

Dan Varcoe, a La Pine activist with a vast history of business and community service, is the new volunteer coordinator who works with the contactor to provide volunteers for the build project and the ReStore manager to supply volunteers for the La Pine ReStore so that hours and services are covered. He can also help coordinate store donations by working closely with fellow team member, Rolando Alonzo, at ReStore. Dan can be reached by phone at 541-771-9177 for information about how to apply to serve.

Mike Jensen from JensenOne Marketing & Photography and web design is the third member of the team and he is charged with keeping the website fresh and as interactive as possible.
